Meet the Dogs

MUDDY WATERS ("MUDDY"). As you may have guessed from our name, our beloved Muddy was the inspiration for this site. So many people asked me about the holistic treatments we used for his severe hip dysplasia, that I realized the information could be helpful to others, and I should write it down. Coincidentally, I had just taken early retirement from a 35 year international banking career and needed something productive to do. This site is the result.

BLIND WILLIE MCTELL ("WILLIE"). As his name suggests, Willie is completely blind. We spotted him on Petfinder and wanted to give him a home. Willie is a completely lovable, resourceful and determined dog who constantly amazes us with his ability to live a normal life while completely in the dark. TARKA. Just a few days after Muddy died, we were asked to foster Tarka so that he could be saved from a high-kill county shelter in Iowa. We fell in love with him and adopted him a few weeks later. Tarka is intelligent, athletic and charming. He can be a bit of a handful due to his fearfulness, but he rewards our patience with ecstatic enjoyment of belly rubs and just enough rascally behavior to be fun. Click on the link to Meet Tarka.
